deeds lead to more deeds
becoming ingrained...slowly
as ways of living

as good or evil
both by practice reinforced
so great its power

whatever planted
cultivated by practice...
its roots are struck deep

yet as they take hold
harmful ways go unnoticed
obscured by the brain

seen only within
by only those who enter
who dare go deeply

this too takes practice
but of a kind that promotes
being still within

in those depths shines light
deeds...harmful or kind...disclosed
right choices revealed

seen not by the brain
but the goodness of being
ever there within
